Show 7 - Pennsylvania Support for Occupation

Good day lovers and madmen!

Last night's show of Radio Against Apartheid is now available online! Tune in and give it a listen!

This week's episode included a news segment from the Palestine News Network in the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem. Then we talked about support for police and military violence, including former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell being the keynote speaker at a fundraiser for the Friends of the Israeli Defense Forces, and also the tear gas manufacturing plant in Jamestown, Pennsylvania which is producing the tear gas used to suppress dissent in Oakland, Egypt, and Palestine.

There is a group of people going from Pittsburgh to Jamestown to confront Combined Systems International for producing tear gas. Join up and spread the word!

The news about Ed Rendell and Barbara Streisand came from a Mondoweiss article. Much credit to their great reporting!

Finally, check out occupyphilly.org for more information on the Occupy Movement here in Philadelphia.

You can always reach us at radioagainstapartheid@gmail.com. On twitter as WPEB881RAA.

Have a great week!

See you all next Wednesday at 9 PM on Philadelphia's WPEB 88.1 FM.
